Artists are like explorers. Even if you only work in one medium, there is so
much to explore. After learning the basic rules of drawing and painting, I have
tried to concentrate on one part of my medium: color.
My subject usually stays the same, birches, but the compositions change with
any changes of color combinations. Using one single color in as many color
combinations and in as many compositions as I can is the method I use.
When that particular color is used up, I begin to explore another color.
Explorers are dreamers who use their imagination to find new dreams. And I
thank my mother for letting me dream.
